Make the World A Better Place Foundation and Combat Radio hosted a a dinner to feed the participates of the LSS Community Care Food Bank. Dinner was prepared and served by Our Place BBQ & Soul Food staff and the wonderful volunteers.

Foundation ThinkAgain Provides rehabilitation therapies to pediatric cancer and brain tumor survivors who continue to suffer due to the neuro-cognitive late-effects of cancer and cancer treatment.

We met Patty Kerrigan the president of the ThinkAgain foundation while visiting UCLA Neurosurgeon Jorge Lazareff. We were in search of support for our who is a survivor of a traumatic brain injury. Patty has been so supportive of my daughter and our family. Patty is the real deal. We love Patty and we love participating in the Bowling for Brains and Taste of Westwood fundraisers.

( Ojai , CA ) – On October 8th, an amazing line up of musicians including Timmy Curran and Brotheryn Studio Allstars will unite for a special concert to raise money for the Thom Olson Hope & Healing Fund.  Diagnosed with Neuroendocrine Cancer, Thom and his friends and family are in search for a treatment that will allow Thom to live a healthy life for many years to come.

The Hope and Healing Benefit Concert will take place at the Ojai Libbey Bowl in Ojai , CA . The show will begin at 12:00pm and run until 7:00pm. The full lineup includes performances by Timmy Curran, Raging Arb and the Redheads, Brotheryn Studio Allstars, Jackass, The Strand Band, Ska Daddyz, B. Willing James, Dirty Rice, Kyle Hunt, and special guests.

The Ojai Libbey Bowl is located at 205 E. Ojai Avenue .
